Parianos Bay Harbour

The bay of Parianos earns the admiration of those who visit. It is found on the western coast of the island beyond the Loutro area and it’s a natural refuge for fishing boats. As though God raised His own hand and crafted this wind guarded area, it shields fishing boats from the brutal wintry sea. It is worthwhile to go there for a walk, pause on the hill facing the harbour and absorb the sunset and view of Naxos. A memorable sight.
