Glaronisi
Γλαρονήσι | Glaronisi IslandWhen seen from above, you notice artwork on canvas adorned with whitewashed wings. The wings of seagulls, which for years have been the island’s only residents. They migrate to this namesake islet for resting, mating and the laying and hatching of eggs. Glaronissi which is part of the island cluster known as Koufonisia, is beset with hidden beaches and sea caves just waiting to be explored. You’ll drop anchor on the west side, opposite Keros in a private vessel or on a boat belonging to a native. The closest coastal distance to Kato Koufonisi is 600 m.
